How to find our Inclusive Theatre School near Jarrow

Getting from Jarrow to our spot in Wallsend is a breeze! Once you’ve crossed under the river via the Tyne Tunnel (keep on the A19), you’re almost there.

Take the exit for the A193 heading toward Wallsend and North Shields. When you hit the Howdon Interchange, just take the first exit to get onto Tynemouth Road (A193). From there, take a right onto Churchill Street, then a quick left onto Archer Street. You’ll spot us right away on your right-hand side!

We welcome families and schools from Jarrow who are looking for inclusive theatre classes and SEND friendly performing arts sessions. Many of our students travel from Jarrow, Wallsend and North Shields to join our inclusive theatre school in Newcastle, where they can build confidence, develop creativity and form lasting friendships in a supportive environment designed for all abilities.

Devastated by the gravity of her loss, our happy girl struggled with her emotions. She went through counselling through her school but nothing was lifting her up. We decided to give True Colours Theatre a try. What a difference a year makes. It is so lovely to see her confidence soar, to see her smile and laugh so much again. Love Your School Again

Book into our homeschool sessions and get that I Love My School feeling back. As part of our Inclusive Theatre School near Jarrow community, our Well Being main lobby is a great place for students to access their school work, chill in the sensory room, chat with friends, take a recess run, and fall back in love with the social aspect of going to school. Isolation is over and school is back in session.

Available during term time.
Parents and carers must remain with students at all times.
