How to find our Inclusive Theatre School near North Shields
Heading our way from North Shields? It’s a quick and straightforward journey along the A193 (Tynemouth Road). Just follow the road west toward Wallsend, passing through Howdon. Once you go over the A19 flyover, look out for the Howdon Hub on your left. From there, take a left onto Churchill Street and your very next left onto Archer Street. You’ll see our “forever home” sitting proudly on the corner of Shafto Street, the famous former Wallsend Boys Club building made iconic by DIY SOS!
Our Inclusive Theatre School near North Shields
We welcome families and schools from North Shields who are looking for inclusive theatre classes and SEND friendly performing arts sessions. While our hub is based at our Inclusive Theatre School Newcastle, many of our students travel from North Shields, Wallsend and Jarrow to take part in our inclusive theatre classes Newcastle, as well as our dedicated SEND school outreach programmes and supportive homeschool sessions. Our fully accessible venue, known as Our Place, offers a sensory friendly environment where young people from across the North East can build confidence, develop creativity and feel part of a safe and welcoming community.

Homeschooler Sessions
Love Your School Again
Book into our homeschool sessions and get that I Love My School feeling back. As part of our Inclusive Theatre School North Shields community, our Well Being main lobby is a great place for students to access their school work, chill in the sensory room, chat with friends, take a recess run, and fall back in love with the social aspect of going to school. Isolation is over and school is back in session.
Available during term time.
Parents and carers must remain with students at all times.
